The older I get, and the more phases of life I go through, the more I value deep friendships. Those friendships are hard to come by. And I’ve realized the saying could not be more true, “It’s not the quantity, but the quality that matters.”

I never really thought of myself as that creative of a person. But though I thought I wasn’t creative, I came to find that a lot of things that I do and enjoy in my every day life are actually quite creative. I do work in the music business after all, doing marketing!

Don’t take your relationships for granted. Take time to invest in your friends and be grateful for their relationships. Let them know regularly how grateful you are for them and let them know how much they inspire you.

I recently posted about my highlights from 2021. A year that was full of laughter, love, and growth. A year full of fond memories. But as I was reflecting again the last few days, I thought, “Seriously? 2021 was really pretty crappy.”

It's that time to reflect on 2021. It was full of laughter, love, and growth and I’m just really grateful for what I’ve gotten to experience this year. I have soooo many fond memories that I will carry with me, close to my heart as I enter the new year!

100 hours. 2000 miles. A lifetime of memories.

As I think back on my five years, I'm thinking of my first day on the job. I was fresh out of school, had zero work experience, and was sooo nervous! I feared I would fall on my face and that I wouldn't make it. But somehow I managed to rise to the occasion :)

What started out as a year full of hopes and expectations, quickly changed to a year of learning and growth. And as many people want to forget 2020 even happened, it's a year that I will hold dear for years to come.

I don't believe life "just kind of happens". God definitely has a plan. And these people have played a very special role in the person that I have become.

My brain can’t comprehend it! I’ve been out of college for five years. Wowza. I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on this lately and so I must share my thoughts.
